Alright. I'm going to go back a day. Once upon a time in a galazy far far away. I went and worked my butt off in the studio many floors down yesterday. It is the perfect place to work on my act and soon I will once again have handbalance canes. I have decided to spend a couple hours a day in it. I need to keep myself on the ball.
Emily and Peter left me this morning but we had a great breakfast at Vynl. I could go through ten of those banana milkshakes. Emily got a kick out of the restrooms ha. It was a sad goodbye but I will be back in November most likely to spend a night on the way to or back from Ohio.
After much time of trying to take care of new things, unpacking, and so on so fourth I played some video games with Dylan. Dorked it up with some Final Fantasy 12 and then murdered him at Mortal Kombat. I think I was defeated maybe once.
My other friend Emily came and grabbed me with her friend Josh and we went on a mission to feed the homeless a bag of pumpernickle pretzels. It was so hard to find someone...other times I have to watch where I step. We ended up leaving them on a table next to a man sleeping in a chair in Timesquare. We walked for hours and had very silly conversations. I would ocassionally get loud and do tricks and Emily would worry about my health and ruin the potential moment, just kidding. It was a blast. We ended up parting at two and I found a great place to karaoke!
I went grocery shopping on the way back it was a bit pricey but I just wanted cereal. Low and behold I opened it up and their was a prize! I have not had a item in a box of cereal in years. I also have been looking to cash a bingo ticket I won forever now and the one place I found to do so, the machine was broken. Go figure.
Alright but today. It is still early and much can, should and will happen but...I had my first audition in NYC! I printed up my resume and headed towards W47th st to audition for The Box, they are doing a show for half of October called Purgatorio. I tried to throw some sequences together the past couple days to do a act, but my brain is not letting me remember and flow. With this aside though I arrived 20 minutes to warm up and it turns out Vance, the coordinator at Splash Friday was involved with casting. My back kicked major ass! On the negative side, even they were informed, my left shoulder has been lightly injured. I could'nt get my crocodile to handstand I had to overpower it and go to bridge. My shoulder just pinched and went all or nothing. I feel very good about this though. Can't be tooooo many male contortionists at the audition. It was such a array of performers. If I get call back it may have to demonstrate some aerial skills, I have them but I have not trained in air all summer. I feel like I am finally getting somewhere with my contortion again though!
I have another audition coming up Wednesday for Carnival NYC, a club looking for ground acts and atmosphere. Also, meeting with Jonathan Nosan the same day or possibly Thursday. I really really REALLY want part in Acrobacks!
Emily is now on her way over and I am going to try to make her bendy. Wish us luck ;) Not sure how the rest of the night will pan out, but I don't see how things can not be bright.
I am loving this new life, but I love and miss my Brattleboro family. May all your days be circus days ;)

The Start of Something New.
It's a circus, a circus of life!
September eleventh, I take a step into the next chapter of my life. A attempt to living in NYC for a year.Leaving Brattleboro Vermont is much needed but at the same time, it became my home. My friends who have stayedaround have become my family and have helped me so much.Saying goodbye has been so hard, it's only a train rideaway but I need to be able to work hard to visit. I am really entering this life on a limb. No head start. I have taken wing and arrived at my new home at 7:30. It was such a crazy feeling stepping into my new home,it's a 10 minute walk to times square, on the 15th floor. As I waited at the door I got chills and was trying to keep my calm at the door, 5 minutes later no one has answered the door still...I texted Dan and he said he washome and the door was open. I was on the wrong floor but right room!!! So glad their wasnt anyone home, it was sad,I have been here several times. I spent some time with Dan as he played online poker and then watched Glee with Anthony and Dylan. Ten o clock hitin no time and I had to race to Splash to perform for my second time there. It was great to have work my first night.I went on 3 times and got a check and tips. I also pulled out a sweet one arm handstand! Kind of a big deal for beingunder club lights and music. My friend Brandon who performs sometimes as well came for support. Was like my bodyguardtonight. Very nifty. I got to see my friend Drew as well, it has been a few weeks. 3 o clock rolled aound and I got to take off. Change of scenery, and the rain that shrowded my day releived itself.I picked me up some Sub Way and went back to my new home. Brandon my other new roomate (Dan and Brandon and Anthony)came home as well and we spoke a bit and then split to bed. Anthony just got in at 4 30 and now we are both about to crash. Off to a nice start, and Emily is coming up to see me and bring my life thats in 3 boxes. Very excited and scared and many other things for whats to come!
